Since I’ve started my new job after retirement, (yes, weird), I began keeping up with some of my work outfits. For many of them, I used either tops or pants that I had owned for years, but I did add in a few new pieces.
Here are some tops I wore with my Worthington black pants that I’ve had for close to 10 years. These Worthington pants are just a classic pair of slacks. I’ve machine washed and dried them all this time, and they have shown almost no wear.
One idea I always try to incorporate is adding another color or print to the outfit with my shoes. Shoes can be an easy way to add interest, especially if it’s a color or print you may not want much of.
Any links I do have for blouses or shoes are below the photos.

These shoes from Amazon and are a pale yellow. Link: https://amzn.to/3MKTaMG (yellow isn’t available right now)
This leopard top from Amazon is several years old but still looks new: https://amzn.to/3TrSPlP
Leopard print is back! But does it ever really go away? If you like to add just a touch of print, shoes like these are a great choice. These shoes aren’t available on Amazon right now, but here’s a link to some similar ones: https://amzn.to/3N5SL7T
The top is several years old and is from H&M, which is aa awesome place to go for staples. It is still in great shape.
This rust top is a Target purchase and has a quilted look. It’s really for winter, but it is winter all year at the office. I paired it with these leopard mules from Amazon. I’ve linked some similar ones that are a good price: https://amzn.to/3Tqe5s4
I love green, and this button down adds a little more color to my wardrobe. I added the same leopard mules as worn in the previous photo.
Most weeks, I wear these pants once and just rotate shoes/blouses. I will continue sharing different basic pants and what I pair with them!
